Von Pearsall retired from IBM and contract work in 2002, BUT he was just not ready to sit around and relax. With his engineering and computer programming expertise he decided to do something he always wanted to do… run a small metal fabrication business. Therefore he, his son Robert and wife Kitty started their business.  

Using basic machining, fabrication and welding equipment the goal was to manufacture custom designed product such as metal entertainment centers, fixtures, trailer mounted barbeque smokers, chess pieces etc. After a few rough years the realization hit that this is/was a very niche business, extremely hard to break into and difficult to develop a customer base due to the competitive environment.  Therefore in 2005 the business migrated from a fabrication shop to a machine and fabrication shop called “BOSS Precision, Inc. This “new” business was converted to a Sub S Corporation. It was founded by Kitty and Von Pearsall.

Today, Boss Precision, is a machining and manufacturing business that is  equipped with a CNC controlled lathe, 4 axis CNC mill, welding and other assembly tools so that quick turn, prototype machined parts can be manufactured. Kitty is the President and CEO of the company while Von is a Co-owner and Operations Manager.
